  • Notes
    • Rachel Bahn’s mother - Author of the Annals of the Bahn, Libhart and Hargbaugh Familes. Annals of the Bahn,.... Part 2, pg 5

“Mother in personal appearance was tall and heavy. But from the time I remember anything of her she never enjoyed good health. She was always ailing. She was mild and kindhearted and always good to the poor. My mother! Well do I remember her, thought I was quite young, when death snatched her from our midst. She was a plain woman, plain in manner, in fact, plain in all things. It pleaseth me greatly that I recollect this of my mother, now that she sleeps these many years in her narrow house in yonder cemetery.”
