    • Her skin dark complexion. Her hair at age of 60 still had a lot of dark in it.

      When lived on Garesche, the family would make root beer and put it in the shed in the backyard. When it got hot, the caps would pop off.

      Also remembers that her mom made the most delicious yeast rolls, and coffee cake.

      Letters written to Faith from her father J.V. Jarboe are in his note section.

      When lived on Greer, it was behind Beaumont HS., they had psychic meetings, read cards, she really believed in this.
      Was said to have some Psychic abilities/ Held seances during the depression
      One time the table lifted during a seance. This was a way that she helped supplement the family income during the depression.

      When the family moved from Walnut Park to the Lee address, it was a street car route and they had a hard time sleeping at night.

      According to Aunt Peaches, “Mom was secretive all the time. She would tell very little and in bits and pieces. Mom used to read these true confession stories all the time. She wrote a book, Love Triangle and gave it to Marie Werne (sp?) , a neighbor (school teacher?). Shirley knew her.
