- Built Rehoboth United Methodist Church in 1860 with Irwin Hutchinson & 5 slaves. Construction took 1 year. Boards were hand dressed and nails made on site. Church had 53 members. It was located near the ‘Rock House’. Church burned in______. Church congregation is still in existence in Abbeville County.
